Overview

Under direction, to perform work developing, analyzing, maintaining and implementing application systems software within the Healthcare Organization.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPLES DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

  1. Analyze and prioritize requests for system changes/enhancements.
  2. Identify potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches.
  3. Assures proper change control and documentation for upgrades and system modifications.
  4. Effectively works as a team member to ensure quality of integration across system applications.
  5. Ensure programs and related components are continuously reliable, available and function as required.
  6. Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, determine possible, solutions and document resolutions for future reference.
  7. Participate in the development and implementation of training materials.
  8. Participate in the development, implementation and testing of application software, specifically the Epic Ambulatory modules; EpicCare Ambulatory, Prelude/Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims.
  9. Provide guidance and support for ongoing training.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



EDUCATION


  • A bachelors degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.

  • Prior experience with physician front office and/or back office workflows (i.e. scheduling, professional billing, claims processing) is preferred.

  • Prior experience with Epic billing, registration, claims or EMR is desirable.

  • One (1) year experience in Healthcare/Medical - Business Office Preferred.
