Overview

Maintains grounds of hospital and offsite locations consistent with highest standards of the hospital.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)


  1. Clears snow from walks, parking lots, entryways and driveways immediately upon any accumulation.

  2. Maintains parking lots and roadways, as needed.

  3. Cuts lawns, trims and edges around walkways, parking lots, and flower and shrub beds as directed.

  4. Prepares and maintains mulch bed areas and/or re-mulch as needed or directed.

  5. Prunes shrubs and trees to shape, improves growth or removes damaged leaves, branches, or twigs as needed or directed.

  6. Sprays lawns, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.

  7. Rakes and bags leaves as needed or directed.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements)



    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Requires a valid driver's license.

  • Ability to use hand power tools and various ground related power tools and motor vehicles.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to provide compassionate, quality health services for employees, physicians and customers.



EDUCATION


  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required

  • 1 Landscaping Required
