JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of computers, payroll procedures, of preparing annual performance evaluations and properly evaluating staff.
- Must develop and maintain rapport with all levels of customers.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Maintains excellent decorum and communications with all managers throughout the hospital.
- Leadership qualities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be consistent, objective and fair with all staff. Positive attitude, able to handle employee behaviors, resolve any staffing issues, scheduling problems and remain calm.
- Ability to prepare a schedule, reports, conduct investigations, and to make decisions.
EDUCATION- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Bachelors Criminal Justice Preferred
- Bachelors Social Sciences Preferred
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in a Healthcare setting is required, preferably in a security setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
- 3 Security Required
