JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical skills and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
- Ability to use logical problem-solving skills based on the nursing process and hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates diplomacy interacting with staff, clients and the public.
- Demonstrates flexibility in meeting unanticipated demands and priorities.
EDUCATION
- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Nursing is required, MSN preferred in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
- Certification in psychiatric nursing or a related nursing field of study is preferred.
- Bachelors Nursing Required
- Masters Nursing Preferred
- Three (3) years psychiatric clinical nursing experience is required.
- 3 Healthcare/Medical Psychiatry Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Certified Basic Life Support
